Delicious And Quick Chia Pudding For Breakfast

I always seem to gravitate back to Shari at Good Food Week.  This week I have whipped up her delicious and quick Chia Puddings for breakfast.  Shari’s website is beautiful and you can check out her recipe for Chia Puddings right here. She loves using Australia products which I love discovering and her recipes are always delicious and easy.  I am not the greatest chef in the world but there are some things I can do and this is one of them.

If you are after a delicious and healthy breakfast and especially if like me, you are running out the door most mornings to work this is fantastic.  I have whipped it up twice this week, had it in the fridge overnight, dumped it in a bowl in the morning with fresh fruit and Bob’s your uncle.  He probably isn’t but that’s what they say.  Well, they do in Australia anyway.

Here is the recipe so get cracking and make life easy for yourself when the kids aren’t!

Delicious Chia Puddingshealthy breakfast

3 tbsps of greek yoghurt
3 tbsps of chia seeds
100mls of almond milk
1 tsp of vanilla bean paste
1 tsp of honey
1 handful of raspberries

This is dead set easy in that all you have to do is pop all these ingredients into a medium sized plastic container and then pop the lid on.  Shake all the ingredients up and then put it in the fridge overnight.  As Shari suggests on her website, I actually made double of this mixture to make breakfast for at least 3 days.

I also added some desiccated coconut that I had in the cupboard but coconut flakes might go better.  I then also added some chopped up banana the next morning which really filled me up way past lunch time which isn’t normally the case!

My husband also added a little more honey to his bowl!

    I would love to try this. I have had Chia seeds on their own but never like this. This looks great.

      It’s so good! I love I can just grab it in the morning. It has kept me fuller for longer and I am snacking way less by having something substantial for breakfast. Hope you like it xx

      It has made my busy mornings but better as I really shouldn’t skip breakfast and this is easy and delicious! Thanks for such a great site for delicious food!! 🙂
